The Forward to My New Book "New Boy 50 years a Watchtower Slave"
by new boy inthe forward the following story is my fifty year relationship with the watchtower bible and tract society otherwise known as the jehovah witnesses.
it started when i was just two years old and ended just one week after 9/11, 2001 just three weeks before my fifty second birthday.
i was basically raised in that thought system i became a full time minister in my late teens.

Pyramid Schemes
by schnell inseveral years ago, i was introduced to a "wonderful" company called fortune hi tech marketing by a brother and his wife.
they had been introduced by a former sheriff who claims he had researched the company and found no leins or judgments, and that former sheriff had been brought in by a pastor.
you can read what happened with fhtm on wikipedia if you so desire.. this whole new idea of multilevel marketing had my brain reeling, though, and soon enough, i actually signed up with none other than prepaid legal.

The wife of one of my guy's at the shop got involved with Primerica. Another one where recruitment trumps the product. The guy that was coaching her even came to the shop here to talk to her then husband ( divorced now ).
Another one IU have first hand experience with is Isagenix superfood products. I admit to using the vitamins and shakes as a supplement. They do work as well as any other competing brands I suppose, better than any GNC product I tried. However their marketing speil is for the birds, I saw through it right away and ran. I just order through a friend or pick-up at a weight loss clinic. My friend still has his easy city job however, I doubt he could live off the product sales alone.

by AndersonsInfo inhttp://www.macleans.ca/news/a-jehovahs-witness-and-her-deadly-devotion/.
a jehovah’s witness and her deadly devotion.
did a jehovah’s witness die after refusing a blood transfusion, and should the state have let it happen?.

After a couple inactive years of claiming depression ( which was true ) I simply sent in a DA letter to off my back and make a clean break in my mind. Works wonders, they flee from me like cockroaches in bright kitchen light ! One former friend elder agreed that Bethel was unfair and harsh, beard policy stupid, anti-education stance is dumb and the constant drumming of 'pioneer' service annoying. But he just stays in and cries 'LOYALTY' like those parroting drones on JW TV. During that last phone conv. I had with his I just said that WTBTS does NOT have the monopoly on the Bible, that it's a free world and I decide as I please and to please realize that he legally cannot do a thing about it. I'm 52 years old for crying out loud and he was speaking to me like a child. I think the fact I 'studied' with him made my quitting harder on him. That and he also tried the old guilt trip of 'who taught you the Bible ?' approach. I agreed to it as I knew nothing about scripture beforehand. What I forgot to mention was I paid dearly for it in contributions, time, wearing myself out, medical cost when I had my breakdown etc.

Society is pimping 'The Truth' again to attract single men. I've seen it many times. How about the Pascal Petit portrait scandal ? Many others as well, always using beautiful people to draw 'members' in hehe

Hello
by UnshackleTheChains ini decided to join this forum as have been lurking awhile.
there are lots of interesting topics on here that appeal to me.. i have been a witness for almost 3 decades and am very disillusioned with the organisation at this time.
i am beginning to see it in a new light as i am getting older.

If I may, please read Steven Hassan's Combating Cult Mind Control, then go on to 30 Years a Watchtower Slave. You'll understand everything very clearly after that. Up to you to decide if you want to read Ray Franz's book after, which I'm sure you will. My allegiance is to the Father and his Christ not to any religion nor organization. I DA'ed and told them all to pound sand. And when they play the guilt trip on you someday if you do same where as they ask you who taught you the Bible, who taught you about Jehovah ? Answer you did from the written word and that you paid dearly for it in the way of contributions, time and energy. There are other groups that teach similar such as SDA, Unitarians, Messianic Jews etc. plus many other new online groups that the society has now become redundant and caught in the past. People are smarter now and are able to own their research unlike the seventies where religions had monopoly. GB1 would be having a heart attack today if they could see the level of openness out there now. Their selfish control is OVER !! No one group has truth. Look up Dr. Michael Brown or One for Israel as a starting point and progress on your own, good luck !! I don't give the org another 10 years before they are cut in half of what they are now maybe less. They might even loose their tax exempt status in some countries but of course they will spin it as persecution. I was in for 8 years too many myself.

Beautiful animal ! Tabby's are great. As a Bible believer I've adopted the wait and see attitude, it's not a deal breaker for me haha !! I dream of old mills with cut stone and timber frames, bunch of cats sleeping around in the yard. Wait and see until then live life trust in the Christ.

Been a year since I posted this, am now DA'ed and have read numerous 'apostate' books and love being in the VAA ! Made numerous FB friends and am now halfway through Poul B's book 'Judgment Day Must Wait' Those managers in Brooklyn have used the bait and switch all along starting mostly in the Rutherford era. AS for the so called 'anointed' there are all kinds, some are company men and some seem honest hearted and are trying to do what seems right and proper to them. Live and let live I'm very ok with that.
As for Brother Jeramy he is totally MIA and last I heard is either DA'ed or DF'ed and was going to a Greek Orthodox Church. His web sites / blog were sold to a fellow G.O. church member of his and I have not been able to contact him despite a handful of attempts.
Time heals all.
